Ted Kluszewski then ripped a base-hit resulting in a run. After an out was recorded, Nellie Fox stepped in and he doubled resulting in an exciting win for Cincinnati and a raucous post-game celebration by the home town fans. Cincinnati banged out 10 hits on the night. The win was credited to Wally Burnette(1-1) who went 1 inning allowing no runs. Don Mossi(0-1) took the loss in relief. 'That was exciting!,' Rosen said.
