Left fielder Sherry Magee hit a grand slam as the St. Louis Browns man-handled
the Brooklyn Dodgers - the final score was 16 to 1.
Magee made sure the St. Louis fans enjoyed themselves. He doubled in the 3rd
inning, slapped a single in the 5th inning and emptied the bases with a Grand
Slam homerun in the 6th inning. St. Louis bats were very productive in the

Brooklyn had 8.
