Cy Falkenberg tossed a complete game and Bill McKechnie had 3 base hits and 3
RBI at Greenlawn Park as the St. Louis Terriers lost a heartbreaker to
Indianapolis Hoosiers by the score of 6 to 5.

Indianapolis won the game with a run in the 9th inning.  George Textor
doubled.  Edd Roush stepped up next and he drew a walk.  Vin Campbell then
ripped a one-base hit to load the bases.  McKechnie came up and he lashed a
single making Indianapolis victorious to the delight of the the home town
crowd.  Indianapolis rapped out 15 hits for the afternoon.  

The victory was credited to Falkenberg(3-0) who went the distance, allowing 5
runs. Ted Welch(0-1) was the losing pitcher in relief.  He gave up 1 run and
2 hits in 1 and 1/3 innings.
