Ken Boyer went yard and had 2 RBI as the Kansas City Athletics beat the
Cleveland Indians by a score of 7 to 5.

Kansas City came up with 4 runs in the 6th inning when they came up with 3
base hits.  The critical plate appearance was by Jim Piersall who excited the
crowd when he belted a three-run homer.  Both teams finished the game with 13
hits.  

The victory went to Lew Burdette(7-1) who went 6 innings, allowing 3 runs.
Burdette got relief help from Marv Grissom who gained credit for his 11th
save.  Billy Hoeft(1-4) took the loss.  He surrended 3 homeruns in his 6
innings.
