Walt Moryn ripped 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the Brooklyn Dodgers outscored
the Washington Nationals 8 to 4.

Moryn made sure the Brooklyn fans enjoyed themselves.  He lined a single in
the 3rd inning, clubbed a two-run home run in the 5th inning and cleared the
fences for a two-run home run in the 7th inning.  Brooklyn had a total of 11
hits for the game.  

The win went to Curt Simmons(4-4) who allowed 3 runs in 8 innings. Don
Larsen(4-3) was the losing pitcher.  He surrended 3 homeruns in his 6 and 2/3
innings.  

'It's almost like the ball was trying to hit my bat,' Moryn said. 'Whenever I
would swing, the ball found the sweet spot.'
