Tom Seaton shutout Kansas City while allowing the Brooklyn bullpen a day-off
and he had 2 base hits and 3 RBI at Washington Park as the Brooklyn club beat
the Kansas City Packers 7 to 0.

Seaton(5-2) put on a good performance.  He allowed only 4 hits and 8 walks in
9 innings reducing his ERA from 2.03 to 1.73.  Brooklyn finished with just 6
hits in the victory.  

Gene Packard(2-3) was the loser.  He allowed 6 hits and 5 walks in 8 innings.
