Del Crandall smacked 3 homeruns and had 6 RBI as the Cincinnati Reds beat the
Cleveland Indians by a score of 12 to 6.

Crandall provided much of the offense. He belted a three-run homer in the 1st
inning, blasted a two-run home run in the 3rd inning and delivered a solo
blast in the 7th inning. Cincinnati ended up with 17 hits for the game while
Cleveland had 13.

The victory was credited to Ray Crone(1-1) who went 7 and 1/3 innings,
allowing 6 runs. Billy Hoeft(0-3) was the losing pitcher. He was hit hard
and gave up 8 hits and 3 walks in 4 innings.

'Some days it just all comes together, and this was one of them' Crandall
said. 'I've been seeing the ball pretty well lately.'
