Rube Foster came through with a solid 6 innings and Jimmy Walsh hit a homerun
and had 3 RBI as the Philadelphia Athletics topped the New York Giants by a

Foster(5-2) looked very much in control throughout the day. He was stingy on
the mound, allowing just 1 hit and 1 walk in 6 innings. Philadelphia kept
