Eddie Cicotte didn't allow a hit until the 7th inning and Heinie Zimmerman hit
2 doubles at Fenway Park where the Washington Nationals beat the Boston Red
Sox 5 to 0.

Cicotte(4-3) was indeed brilliant as he hand-cuffed the Boston offense.  He
didn't give up much, just 1 hit and 2 walks in 9 innings seeing his ERA drop
from 2.73 to 2.34.  The right-handed Cicotte had his no-hit bid broken up by
Max Carey who singled with one out in the 7th inning.  Washington totaled 9
hits on the afternoon.  

Hippo Vaughn(4-3) was charged with the loss.  He pitched 7 and 2/3 innings and
surrendered 8 hits and 2 walks.
