Al Rosen ripped 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI at Crosley Field where the Cincinnati
Reds beat the Chicago-NL Cubs 9 to 6.

It was a good day for Cincinnati thanks to Rosen.  He lined a base-hit in the
1st inning, blasted a two-run home run in the 3rd inning and cracked a solo
homerun in the 6th inning.  Cincinnati rapped out 15 hits for the night.

Art Fowler(3-2) got the win allowing 3 runs in 6 innings. Fowler got help from
Don Bessent who earned his 4th save.  Whitey Ford(1-2) was the loser.  He
surrended 5 homeruns in his 5 innings.
