Bob Nieman had 3 base hits and 3 RBI and Camilo Pascual took a no-hitter into
the 8th inning at Forbes Field as the New York-AL Yankees pulled off a
dramatic comeback beating the Pittsburgh Pirates by the count of 7 to
6.

Pascual(2-2) had a strong outing.  He allowed only 2 hits and 1 walk in 7 and
2/3 innings.  Pascual mowed down 9 Pittsburgh batters.  The right-handed
Pascual lost a no-hitter when Hector Lopez homered with two outs in the 8th
inning.  Neither team was able to score until the 7th inning.  

Don Gross recorded his 2nd save.  Billy Pierce(1-3) took the loss.  He allowed
8 hits and 1 walk in 8 innings.
