In a one-sided affiar at Redland Field the final score was the Brooklyn
Dodgers 8, the Cincinnati Reds 3.

Brooklyn set the tone of the game in the first inning scoring a single run.
After an out was recorded, Casey Stengel tripled.  Gavvy Cravath stepped up
next and he hit a deep fly scoring the run.  Brooklyn finished with 12 hits
in the victory.  

Tom Seaton(2-1) got credit for the victory, pitching 7 and 1/3 innings and
allowing 2 runs. Seaton got help from George McQuillan who was credited with
his 2nd save.  Red Ames(2-6) took the loss.
