Dick Rudolph pitched a complete game at West Side Park where the Chicago Cubs
beat the Pittsburgh Pirates by the score of 4 to 2.

Rudolph(8-4) had a strong outing.  He surrendered only 4 hits and 3 walks in 9
innings seeing his ERA drop from 3.56 to 3.31.  Chicago had only 5 hits for
the game.  

Jim Scott(0-5) was hit with the loss.  He surrendered 5 hits and 4 walks in 8
