6,544 fans watched an exciting game at Ebbets Field.  The St. Louis Browns
snapped their 5 game slide and topped the Brooklyn Dodgers by the slimmest of
margins, 3 to 2.

The score was tied at 2 after nine.  St. Louis won it in the 13th inning.
Clyde Milan lashed a single.  Nemo Leibold stepped into the batter's box and
he laid down a sacrifice bunt.  Del Pratt then banged out a single scoring
the run.  Pratt took second on the throw.  St. Louis managed 11 hits in their
victory.  

Ray Caldwell(4-0) got credit for the victory, pitching 3 and 1/3 innings and
allowing no runs. Caldwell was helped out by Zip Zabel who recorded his 5th
save.  Nick Cullop(2-4) was the loser in relief.
