Catcher Sherm Lollar had 4 hits and 2 RBI as the Brooklyn Dodgers bested the
Cleveland Indians 8 to 4 at Municipal Stadium.

In the top of the 4th inning Brooklyn went on top for good plating 2 runs on 2
hits.  After an out was recorded, Jackie Jensen started the attack as he drew
a walk.  Al Smith followed and he tripled resulting in a run.  Walt Moryn
followed, but he was set down on strikes.  Bill Bruton was up next and he
laced a one-base hit scoring the final run of the inning.  For the game
Brooklyn out-hit Cleveland 15 to 10.  

Bob Buhl(5-7) was the winner allowing 3 runs in 6 and 2/3 innings. Paul
Foytack(4-9) took the loss.  Brooklyn now has a record of 29-32.  With the
loss Cleveland now has a record of 31-46.
