Center fielder Duke Snider knocked 2 homeruns and Robin Roberts went the
distance as the Chicago-NL Cubs topped the Cleveland Indians by a score of 12
to 8 at Wrigely Field.

Snider had a big day at the plate. He hit a bases-empty home run in the 1st
inning, hit a 'grand salami' to the delight of his teammates in the 4th
inning and doubled plating a run in the 8th inning. Chicago-NL finished with
12 hits in the victory.

Roberts(6-6) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 8 runs. Roger
Craig(3-5) was the losing pitcher. He served up 3 gopher balls in 4 innings.

'Actually, I didn't feel that comfortable at the plate today' Snider said
after the game. 'Despite that, I'm happy with the results!
