Yankees by the score of 7 to 1 at Yankee Stadium.
Amoros provided much of the offense. He lifted one out of the park for a two
run home run in the 5th inning and cleared the fences for a two-run home run
in the 7th inning. Pittsburgh rapped out 11 hits for the afternoon.
The win went to Friend(6-3) who allowed 1 run in the game. Brooks
Lawrence(2-8) was the loser. Wth the win Pittsburgh now has a record of
