Right fielder Jackie Jensen had 4 hits as the Brooklyn Dodgers defeated the
Kansas City Athletics by the score of 7 to 4 at Municipal Stadium.

Brooklyn drew first blood jumping out to an early lead in the first inning
when they scored 3 runs on 3 hits.  The highlight belonged to Bill Sarni who
deflated the crowd as he doubled plating two runs.  Brooklyn had 12 hits for
the game and Kansas City had 6.  

Jim Brosnan(2-2) picked up the victory, allowing 2 runs in 7 innings. Brosnan
got help from Don Drysdale who earned his 2nd save.  Johnny Antonelli(7-5)
absorbed the loss.  He was touched for 11 hits and 4 walks in 8 innings.
