Tom Brewer pitched a complete game at Ebbets Field where the Cincinnati Reds
beat the Brooklyn Dodgers 10 to 4.

Brooklyn found themselves trailing quickly as the Cincinnati bats came through
in the first inning scoring 4 runners on 4 hits.  Cincinnati managed 15 hits
in their victory.  

Brewer(6-3) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 4 runs. Bob
Buhl(4-6) absorbed the loss.  He was knocked around by Cincinnati, allowing 9
hits and 3 walks in 3 innings.
