Shortstop Buck Weaver had 2 base hits as the Boston-AL Red Sox beat the
Cincinnati Reds by a score of 3 to 1.

Cincinnati was unable to recover after Boston-AL went ahead in the 4th inning
scoring one runner on 2 base hits.  Hippo Vaughn was great in relief and
recorded his 2nd save.  

Boardwalk Brown(3-8) got the win allowing 1 run in 7 and 1/3 innings. Buster
Brown(0-4) absorbed the loss.  He pitched 5 innings allowing 8 hits and 1
