The St. Louis Browns scored 5 runs in the 6th inning and nipped the Boston Red
Sox in 10 innings 6 to 5 at Sportsman'S Park in a hard fought contest.

Both teams had scored 5 runs after nine full innings.  St. Louis came out the
victor in the 10th inning.  Clyde Milan stroked a base-hit.  Nemo Leibold
came to the plate and laid down a sacrifice bunt.  Del Pratt then ripped a
base-knock making St. Louis the victors to the delight of the home town
faithful.  Boston out-hit St. Louis 12 to 8, but St. Louis ended up with more
runs.  

Raleigh Aitchison(3-1) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 3 innings.
Pete Schneider(3-5) was hit with the loss in relief.  He pitched 4 innings
allowing 2 hits and 3 walks.
