Crosley Field as the Pittsburgh Pirates, running on all cylinders, ripped the
Cincinnati Reds by a large 13 to 1 margin.

Pittsburgh drew first blood jumping out to an early lead in the first inning
as they erupted for 9 runs on 8 hits.  That was all the runs Pierce(6-7)
needed.  Pittsburgh had 13 hits overall, while Cincinnati had 3.
