Jack Quinn pitched a complete game as the New York Giants defeated the
Brooklyn Dodgers by the score of 6 to 5 at Ebbets Field.

Quinn(5-15) gave New York a solid outing.  He allowed 8 hits and 4 walks in 9
innings.  Brooklyn made it exciting in the 9th, but they were unable to push
the needed runs across.  

Christy Mathewson(7-6) was tagged with the loss. 'I was a little good, a
little bad and a little ugly.' said Quinn, 'I was just giving us a chance to
win.'
