Buddy Rosar homered and had 4 RBI as the streaking Washington Nationals
smashed the overmatched Cleveland Indians, 14 to 3.

It was a good day for Washington thanks to Rosar.  He belted a three-run homer
in the 2nd inning and doubled plating a run in the 4th inning.  For the game
Washington out-hit Cleveland 18 to 6.  

Warren Spahn(13-2) allowed 1 run in 7 innings, and picked up the victory.
Howie Pollet(6-4) took the loss.  He got hit hard, allowing 11 hits and 4
walks in 5 innings.
