Falkenberg(3-9) dominated Chicago hitters. He was stingy on the mound,
allowing just 5 hits and 1 walk in 9 innings seeing his ERA drop from 3.85 to
3.61. The pitchers took over after the 1st inning as neither team was able
to score again.
Russ Ford(10-9) absorbed the loss. He allowed 7 hits and 4 walks in 7
innings. 'He was moving it around and spotting it very well.' Lee Palmer
said. Falkenberg pitched a great game. He deserves all the credit.'
