First baseman Sy Sutcliffe had 3 base hits and 2 RBI and Sadie McMahon had a
complete game as the Baltimore Orioles came back to win one over Philadelphia
Phillies, 7 to 6.

Baltimore had the winning rally in the 9th inning when they tallied 5 runs on
5 hits.  Despite scoring in 5 separate innings, Philadelphia could not get
the win.  

McMahon(19-13) finished the game allowing 6 runs in the victory. The losing
pitcher was Gus Weyhing(17-13).  'Wow, that was fun!', McMahon said following
the game.  'Once in a while you play a game that reminds you just why you got
into this business to begin with!'
