Mark Baldwin was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game as the Columbus Solons outscored the Kansas City Cowboys 10 to
6.

Columbus tallied 4 runs in the 4th inning when they had 3 base hits.  The big
moment was provided by Spud Johnson who brought a roar from the partisan
Recreation Park fans when he laced a single which was good for two runs.
Columbus had a total of 10 hits for the game.  

The winning pitcher was Baldwin(17-16) who allowed 6 runs for the game. John
Sowders(3-8) took the loss.  He was not very effective, surrendering 10 runs
in 8 innings.  

The Columbus ballclub's record now stands at 42-47.  Kansas City has a record
of 33-52 after the loss.
