Dode Paskert had 5 hits at West Side Park as the Chicago Cubs won in their
last at-bat beating the St. Louis Browns by the count of 6 to 5.

The game was won by Chicago with a run in the 9th inning.  Paskert cracked a
solo homerun giving Chicago the victory as 7,289 happy fans celebrated
wildly.  St. Louis was out-hit by Chicago, 13 hits to 9.  

The winning pitcher was Al Mamaux(7-6) who allowed no runs in 1 inning. The
losing pitcher was Ray Caldwell(13-4) in relief.  The Chicago ballclub's
record now stands at 63-52.  With the loss St. Louis now has a record of
60-56.
