In an embarrassing outing for the Cleveland Indians pitching staff, New
York-AL Yankees flexed their collective muscle amassing 12 runs as Jim
Wilson(2-5), with relief help from Herm Wehmeier, allowed Cleveland 4
runs.
New York-AL took the lead for good in the 6th inning as they scored 3 runs on
2 base hits. New York-AL had 10 hits for the afternoon.
