6th inning, doubled plating a run in the 8th inning and lined a one-base hit
in the 9th inning. Washington had 17 hits for the night.

Shantz(4-4) was the winner allowing 3 runs for the game. Luis Arroyo(0-1) was
the loser. He gave up 7 hits and 1 walk in 4 innings.
