Ginger Beaumont had 3 base hits and 4 RBI as the Boston Doves destroyed the
league door-mat Brooklyn Superbas by a score of 15 to 5 at Washington
Park.

Brooklyn found themselves trailing quickly as the Boston bats came through in
the first inning when they tallied 3 runs on 3 hits.  Boston lit up the
scoreboard in the 5th inning when they had 5 runs on 4 hits.  Boston had many
opportunities throughout the game and scored in 6 separate innings.  

Irv Young(5-20) picked up the victory, allowing 5 runs in 8 innings. George
Bell(10-12) absorbed the loss.  He allowed a few too many baserunners giving
up 16 hits and 7 walks in 8 and 1/3 innings.
