In a tight game it was the Cincinnati Reds 10, the Chicago Cubs 8 at Redland
Field.

The game started off with Cincinnati taking the lead in the first as they
scored 2 runs on 2 base hits.  Chicago out-hit Cincinnati 11 to 8, but
Cincinnati ended up with more runs.  

Frank Gregory(3-1) went 6 and 2/3 innings allowing 7 runs for the victory. Ed
Reulbach(8-5) ended up with the loss.  He gave up 10 runs in 8 innings of
work.  

'I was a little good, a little bad and a little ugly.' said Gregory, 'I was
just giving us a chance to win.'
