Bullet Joe Bush whitewashed Washington on 3 hits and Gavvy Cravath hit 2
doubles and had 2 RBI at National Park where the Brooklyn Dodgers beat the
reeling Washington Nationals 4 to 0.

Bush(9-6) was indeed brilliant as he hand-cuffed the Washington offense. He
gave up just 3 hits and 2 walks in 9 innings. Brooklyn totaled 10 hits on
the afternoon.

George Baumgardner(2-9) took the loss. He gave up 9 hits and 2 walks in 8
innings. 'I thought it was my best performance in a long time,' said Bush.
'I had good command early in the game. I had my control and composure and
everything went well.'
