The home town fans were very appreciative of the fine hitting performance provided by Hoblitzell. Quinn(10-20) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 4 runs. The loss was charged to Carl Weilman(6-23). He gave up 9 runs in 4 innings and saw his ERA jump from 2.90 to 3.18.
