Strat-O-Matic Baseball - Get Play-By-Play Data Utility

This utility allows you to get play-by-play files, read them, and determine correct number of outs.
You use computer game generated play-by-play files, normally located in the Print folder.

Get Play-By-Play Data

This utility only works for Game Preferences Play By Play Level of "No Play by Play".

If you enter Total Innings, add the total innings pitched for both teams (see box score). For a third of an inning, enter .1. For two-thirds of an inning, enter .2. For example, a game that ended with two outs in the bottom of the ninth, enter 17.2.

For a full 9 inning game, enter 18.
For an 8 1/2 inning game, enter 17.

PBP Files 2 thru 4 are optional. All Total Innings are optional. Once files are submitted, the input file fields cannot be retained for another submit. You must re-enter them.

The output font is Courier New (monospace), which keep the line scores correctly spaced. FYI, if you are sending data via Outlook (and some other email clients) to a Yahoo Group, you may wish to send as Plain Text to avoid double line spacing. Unfortunately, Plain Text does not support bold, italic, colored fonts, or other text formatting.
