They almost ran out of baseballs at Fenway Park as Philadelphia-AL Athletics
clobbered the Boston-AL Red Sox pitching staff, scoring 13 runs while Bob
Lemon(1-0)with effective use of the bullpen surrendered 3 runs to
Boston-AL.

The Boston-AL fans didn't appreciate the big day Roy Campanella had.  He
delivered a solo blast in the 4th inning, doubled which scored a run in the
7th inning and delivered a single plating two runs in the 8th inning.
Philadelphia-AL had 14 hits for the game and Boston-AL had 8.  

Alex Kellner(0-4) was the loser.  He gave up 8 hits and 4 walks in 6 and 1/3
innings.
