The Boston-AL Americans edged the St. Louis-AL Browns in 11 innings at
Huntington Ave Grnds by the score of 4 to 3.

Both teams were tied at 3 runs apiece after nine innings.  Boston-AL was
victorious in the 11th inning.  Dave Brain laced a base-hit.  Two outs later
George Browne came to bat and hit a single.  Patsy Flaherty then drew a walk
to load the bases.  Bill Bradley came up and he drew a walk making Boston-AL
the victor and beginning a joyous home town celebration.  Both teams ended up
with 10 hits on the afternoon.  

Jack Dunleavy(1-0) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 2 innings. Frank
Corridon(0-1) was hit with the loss in relief.  He was touched for 5 hits and
2 walks in 2 and 2/3 innings.
