It was a wild evening in Forbes Field where the Cleveland Indians defeated the
Pittsburgh Pirates by the score of 11 to 10.
Cleveland took the lead for good in the 7th inning plating one baserunner.
Pittsburgh could do no damage in the bottom of the 9th.
Mike Garcia(1-0) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 2 and 1/3 innings.
Jim Hearn earned his 1st save. Bubba Church(0-1) ended up with the loss in
relief.
