Jesse Tannehill had an impressive outing and center fielder Emmett Heidrick
had 4 hits and 2 RBI as the Boston-AL Americans defeated the ice-cold St.
Louis-AL Browns by a score of 8 to 0 at Huntington Ave Grnds.

St. Louis-AL was unable to climb back into it after Boston-AL went ahead for
good in the bottom of the 3rd inning scoring a single run. That early run
support was enough for Tannehill(1-0) and Boston-AL. Boston-AL had a total
of 15 hits for the game.

Harry Howell(0-2) was the loser. Boston-AL knocked him around a bit, as he
gave up 7 runs in 5 innings.
