Stan Musial homered as the Brooklyn Dodgers defeated the Cleveland Indians by
a score of 8 to 5 at Municipal Stadium.

Brooklyn had the game winning rally in the top of the 9th inning plating 3
runs on 3 base hits.  After an out was recorded, Musial started the rally
when he smacked a single.  Al Rosen next to the plate and he ripped a
base-knock.  Jackie Jensen then lofted a three-run bomb.  Ray Narleski(2-1)
got help from Jim Hughes who pitched great and earned his 4th save.  

Don Mossi(0-1) took the loss in relief.  The Brooklyn ballclub's record now
stands at 9-12.  With the loss, the Cleveland ballclub's record is 8-13.
