Oscar Bielaski had 7 hits and 5 RBI and Bill Stearns had a complete game as
the Washington Nationals really laid it on the Baltimore M Marylands 31 to
6.

Bielaski had a big day at the plate.  He doubled in the 1st inning, smacked a
single which plated a run in the 2nd inning, laced a base-knock which brought
home a run in the 2nd inning, singled bringing in a run in the 3rd inning,
banged out a one-base hit scoring two baserunners in the 5th inning, lashed a
single in the 6th inning and delivered a base-hit in the 7th inning.
Washington lit up the scoreboard in the 2nd inning when they had 9 runs on 7
hits and the 5th inning with 6 runs on 5 hits.  The Washington offense was
great, scoring in 7 of the 9 innings.  

Stearns(1-1) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 6 runs. Bill
French(0-1) took the loss.  He gave up 31 runs in 8 innings of work.

'Actually, I didn't feel that comfortable at the plate today' Bielaski said
after the game.  'Despite that, I'm happy with the results!
