Irv Young was able to finish what he started and was credited with a complete
game as the Boston Beaneaters outscored the Brooklyn Superbas 2 to 1.

In the top of the 6th inning Boston scored 1 run.  Brooklyn tried
unsuccessfully to come back in the 9th.  Young(1-1) allowed 1 run on the
