Kaiser Wilhelm went the distance as the Brooklyn Superbas topped the New York
Giants by a score of 8 to 3 at Polo Grounds.

Brooklyn came up with the deciding runs in the top of the 8th inning as they
scored 6 runs on 6 base hits.  The critical plate appearance was by Ed Lennox
who quieted the crowd when he doubled bringing home two baserunners.
Brooklyn had 11 hits for the afternoon.
