Stan Lopata smacked 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI and Bob Buhl allowed Roy Purcell
to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game as the Brooklyn Dodgers defeated
the Cincinnati Reds by the score of 6 to 2 at Ebbets Field.

Lopata helped send the fans home happy.  He cleared the fences for a two-run
home run in the 2nd inning and smashed a two-run homer in the 4th inning.
