Right fielder Jocko Halligan rocketed 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI and Ice Box
Chamberlain completed the game without help from the bullpen at League Park
where the Cincinnati Reds beat the Cleveland Spiders by the score of 6 to
5.

It was a good day for Cincinnati thanks to Halligan. He lined a single in the
3rd inning, clubbed a solo home run in the 5th inning and bombed a two-run
dinger in the 8th inning. Cleveland had a chance to come back in the 9th but
they came up short.

The victory went to Chamberlain(1-1) who went the distance allowing 5 runs.
Lee Viau(0-1) was the loser. He surrendered 6 runs and 8 hits in 8 innings.
