Doc McJames went the distance as the Baltimore Orioles bested the Washington
Senators in 10 innings 6 to 5 at Union Park.

The score was tied at 5 after nine.  Baltimore was victorious in the 10th
inning.  Willie Keeler ripped a single.  Hughie Jennings followed and he
delivered a one-base hit.  Joe Kelley then ripped a base-hit giving Baltimore
the win as 4,023 happy fans joyfully celebrated.  Baltimore had 14 hits for
the afternoon.  

McJames(1-0) lasted until the end allowing 5 runs for the win. Gus
Weyhing(0-1) suffered the loss.  He pitched 9 innings allowing 14 hits and 1
walk.
