Third baseman Harry Steinfeldt jacked one out of the ballyard and had 2 RBI at
Robison Field where the St. Louis-AL Browns beat the St. Louis-NL Cardinals
by the score of 10 to 7.

St. Louis-AL took the lead for keeps in the 7th inning when they scored 2 runs
on 3 hits. The big moment was provided by Hobe Ferris who silenced the crowd
when he doubled which was good for two runs. Ed Murphy was great in relief
and recorded his 1st save.

The victory went to Ed Killian(2-1) who went 3 and 2/3 innings, allowing 1
run. Casey Patten(1-3) was hit with the loss in relief. 'After the stretch
we have been through lately, this victory is especially sweet' offered Tim
Singer. Now, we just have to make this the norm - not the exception!'
