Carl Lundgren completed the game without help from the bullpen as the Chicago
Cubs topped the Cincinnati Reds by a score of 5 to 1 at Palace of the
Fans.

Lundgren(2-0) was very good in the win.  He surrendered only 6 hits and 2
walks in 9 innings improving his ERA from 1.64 to 1.35.  Chicago finished
with 8 hits in the victory.  

Jack Harper(0-2) took the loss.  He gave up 8 hits and 7 walks in 9 innings.
