Al Burch had 4 hits at Washington Park where the Brooklyn Superbas beat the
Boston Doves in 13 innings 2 to 1.

13th inning. Burch doubled. Tim Jordan came next and he drew a walk. After
an out was recorded, John Hummel then drew a walk to load the bases. Phil
Lewis was a strikeout victim, unable to help out. Lew Ritter came up to bat
and drew a walk giving Brooklyn the win and sending the home town fans into a
frenzy. Brooklyn managed 10 hits in their victory.
The victory went to Harry McIntire(2-0) who went 5 innings, allowing no runs.
