Beany Jacobson was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game and first baseman George Stovall had 2 base hits and 2 RBI as
the Cincinnati Reds outscored the Philadelphia-AL Athletics 4 to 1.

The game started off with Cincinnati taking the lead in the first plating one
baserunner using 2 hits.  Cincinnati took care of Philadelphia-AL with no
trouble in the 9th.
